Through precise measurement of ventilation angles in a crate, the RPC has 156 vent holes with specified position and size, for optimal cold air circulation from six sides. Even in long-distance transportation, there is no need to worry about fruits and vegetables spoiled due to poor ventilation. The RPC not only improves the quality of fresh products, but also minimises losses throughout cold-chain transportation.
High load-bearing capacity. GAIM-produced thin-wall side panes offer lighter weight and increased load-bearing capacity. Compared with the similar RPC on market and under the press of 200N, the max deflection of Novabox's RPC is less than 31%.
Hygiene and cost-saving. Testing has shown that the thin-wall side panels and bases produced by GAIM offer smooth surfaces both inside and outside. It will reduce 50% saving on energy and water consumption for cleaning and drying the RPC throughout its whole life cycle. The RPC is also compatible with most of the automatic cleaning and drying equipment available on the market.
Compared with with regular collapsible crates on market, the RPC with double-smooth surfaces and thin-wall construction boasts a 25% larger inner volume.
Each RPC offers a folding ratio of up to 7.6:1*. Up to 185 pieces of the RPCs can be piled up into one pallet, increasing the load space of collapsed RPC by 23% per pallet, also lowering costs.
Innovative spring lock. The crate is locked by a wedge combination of the handle and latch. This design prevents the folding of side panels due to accidents such as handle bumping and scratching, for higher load safety and transport reliability.
RPCs can be stacked crosswise into layers without compromising stability. During transportation, the crates are transported and stored as a palletised unit, higher for efficient movement, storage and loading, reducing damaged costs.
The RPC has passed the general simulation performance test for packaging (ISTA-3E) and the D4169 - 08 Performance testing of shipping containers and systems by the International Safe Transit Association (ISTA) and the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) respectively.
